Balsa wood Sculpture: 12.5 x 13 in Materials: Balsa wood, Hot glue, Pins Principle of design: Space Artist statement: This was the first time I used the wood shop to do a project from start to finish. The skills that I learned during this project helped me to further this busy style with the fluxus box project. I tried to make this shape to come across as an obstacle filled with strange negative space, I wanted this piece to feel as if you can shrink yourself small and use it as a jungle gym.
