Touch assignment post one:

Pg. 101 (pain) "When a Fakir runs across hot coals, his skin does begin to singe- you can smell the burning flesh, he does not feel it"

The section of pain gave examples of mind over matter and blatantly ignoring pain in order to not feel it. The example in this quote showed the idea of one putting themselves through intentional pain, and even though there is obvious evidence that walking on hot coals should, and does hurt, he seemed unaffected. this drawing was to represent the type of mind over matter this pain section was talking about, to show someone obviously in a painful situation, but not phased by it.
